With PaperCut MF\u2018s advanced scan to fax integration now available on multiple devices, you can access all those difficult fax destinations at your fingertips, in an instant. Advanced scan to fax is now available for Toshiba, Sharp, Xerox, Canon, and HP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Also new within advanced scan to fax:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Add recipients from an external contact list. A PaperCut user can access their RightFax or XMFax contact list within the PaperCut UI. With this, administrators don&#8217;t have to maintain separate directories on the device via paper form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full class=\"wp-block-heading\">eGoldFax Connector <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The scan to fax action differs from other scan actions because it uses an&nbsp;external binary called a&nbsp;<strong>fax connector<\/strong>\u200b<br>to deliver the scanned documents.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are multiple fax connectors,&nbsp;<strong>one for each fax provider.<\/strong>\u200b Fax connectors encapsulate all the&nbsp;<strong>fax provider related logic.<\/strong>\u200b Currently, eGoldFax Connector is for <strong>Windows only.<\/strong>&nbsp;Support for Linux and macOS coming soon.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scan to Fax for HP <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Scanning a range of different sized documents a challenge?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HP devices can simply and quickly digitize a large range of document sizes, so you can say goodbye to page cropping with PaperCut MF\u2019s mixed page size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-heading\">Azure Updates <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With 21.2 PaperCut has <strong>added support for user\/password<\/strong>\u200b <strong>Authentication<\/strong>&nbsp;to the \u2018standard\u2019 Azure AD sync so that in\u200b addition to everything you were able to do in 21.0, you can now:\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let users authenticate with their User\/Password\u200b combination:\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>at the device\/MFD\u200b<\/li><li>through the user (or admin) web interface\u200b<\/li><li>through the&nbsp;PaperCut&nbsp;user client\u200b<\/li><li>through the Release Station interface\u200b<\/li><li>through the Print Deploy client\u200b<\/li><li>through the Mobility Print client\u200b<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also let users, self-associate their card at the device (when&nbsp;presenting an unknown&nbsp;card&nbsp;a user can now associate\u200b<br>their card on the spot by logging in with their\u200b User\/Password combination).\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I<strong>s this the same as&nbsp;Azure AD <\/strong>Secure LDAP?\u200b<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nope!<\/strong>&nbsp;There are several key differences:\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Usernames<\/strong>\u200b<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Azure AD sync will create the user in&nbsp;PaperCut&nbsp;with the UPN,&nbsp;<em>e.g.&nbsp;alex.wallaby@papercut.com<\/em>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azure AD Secure LDAP sync will create the user in&nbsp;PaperCut&nbsp;with the&nbsp;MailNickName&nbsp;\/&nbsp;username,&nbsp;<em>e.g.&nbsp;alex.wallaby<\/em>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cost<\/strong>\u200b<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Azure AD sync is free to use!\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azure AD Secure LDAP sync &#8211; Microsoft charge an additional fee for enabling Secure LDAP&nbsp;through Azure Active Directory Domain Services. This is the main reason customers would&nbsp;choose not to use Secure LDAP.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mobility Print &#8211;&nbsp;Cloud Print<\/strong>\u200b<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Control access to printers in Mobility Print by configuring&nbsp;Cloud Print invite links to only share specific printers.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A premium feature only for Mobility Print customers&nbsp;who use&nbsp;PaperCut&nbsp;NG\/MF.
