Top Functionality
The Elatec TCP Converter3 is designed to add Papercut’s Find Me printing to single function printers that do not support an embedded platform. An Elatec Proximity card reader or approved external keypad can be added for easy authentication at the printer. The TCP3 has 2 USB ports and allows 2 authentication devices to be connected simultaneously. Simply mount the card reader or keypad (or both) on or near the printer with an optional plastic snap in bracket or Velcro. You can hide the TCP3 in the back of the printer.
The TCP3 only requires 1 network drop and is installed “in-line” between the printer and the network wall jack (ethernet in and ethernet out to the printer). A 5 volt power supply is included.
Installation is simplified by creating a sample configuration and distributing it to all selected converters.
