ecoprintQ is committed to delivering excellent service to every customer, providing support at each phase of an opportunity, and promoting solutions at every level. In addition to providing exceptional products and services to their customers, ecoprintQ is also dedicated to saving the planet. We offer several products that not only saves money, they also reduce paper usage and waste, ultimately reduce carbon emissions and save trees. One of the primary aims of PaperCut NG/MF is to reduce printing levels by changing a user’s printing behavior. Implementing monitoring, quotas and charging are a good way of drawing a user’s attention to their habits. Eliminating waste is the foundation of PaperCut. Sustainability is one of the core values in their vision for the future.
What is Forest Positive?
We’re helping you to become Forest Positive – meaning we plant more trees than we use. To improve our environmental footprint, we’ve joined the PaperCut Grows program to plant 100 trees across multiple locations: Costa Rica, Iceland, and Forest Fire Recovery in British Columbia and Oregon.
Forest Positive is the future of the sustainability movement. Traditional reduction of carbon emissions is an important foundation to combating climate change. As part of the effort towards neutralizing ones impact on the environment, Forest Positive practices help to transform neutral environmental impacts to environmental surplus by planting more trees than are consumed.
Why Forest Positive matters
Reducing print isn’t enough anymore. By becoming Forest Positive, you can turn your printing’s impact from a negative environmental footprint to a positive force for ecological renewal. This program helps to combat deforestation, diminish printing footprints, and combat climate change. Most importantly, PaperCut Grows is easy, affordable, provides a real impact, and makes a difference in the world.
How Forest Positive practices can make a difference
20% of current greenhouse gases are due to tropical dorest destruction. The soldiers on the frontlines of the climate change war are the world’s trees. One mature tree absorbs more than 48 pounds of carbon dioxide each year. This creates enough oxygen for a human to breathe for 2 years. Unfortunately, due to climate change and deforestation, the amount of trees on the planet is shrinking every day. With 30% trees cut down being used for paper processing, essential business printing needs to do more than minimize paper waste. We need to maximize positive environmental investment.“Forest Positive Printing” – Papercut.com
PaperCut Grows combats deforestation
By combining efforts with certified non-profit reforestation projects, PaperCut Grows works to convert documents printed to trees planted. Through helping to hand-pick which global reforestation project plants your trees, you can contribute to combating the destruction of earth’s forests. Forest Positive printing means that organizations offer waste reduction and direct ecological action by offering a way to plant more trees than used by printing.
