The Mini Bio Reader SR is a world-class innovation that delivers Secure Printer Authentication with the single touch of the user´s fingerprint. One of the great advantages of the Mini Bio Reader SR is that it does not require an additional network connection nor any special software, except the billing software. The Mini Bio Reader SR allows the user to self-register him or herself onto the Multifunction Printer and immediately release prints, scan documents or make copies. The users may also release prints and authenticate onto Multifunction Printers in subsidiaries of the same company, provided the MFPs are on the same network.. In order to install, the MPS provider only needs to have the billing software configured and connect the USB cable of the Mini Bio Reader SR into the USB port of the Multifunction Printer. In less than one minute, the user register him or herself on the Mini Bio Reader SR and associate his fingerprint with his or her user in the active directory. It’s as simple as that, less than 1 minute to be fully registered. The Mini Bio Reader SR requires the user to register once – only once – in every multifunction printer he or she wishes to use.
