Beyond the Summit: How ecoSummit 2026 Brought "Evolve with a Purpose" to Life

The conversations across our industry are changing. Customers want to do more with less, IT environments keep getting more complex, security (while in the cloud) sits at the top of every list, and the role of the dealer keeps expanding. At ecoSummit 2026, we didn’t come to Naples just to talk about change. We came together to figure out what to do with it.
From October 26 to 29, ecoPartners, OEMs, technology partners, industry experts and the ecoprintQ team gathered at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, around one theme: Evolve with a Purpose. The theme grew out of conversations our COO, Dominick Bracero, and the team had with ecoPartners across the Americas this year. The goal was simple. Every partner should leave with practical ideas, stronger relationships and a clear vision for future growth.

1 - Welcome and general session

Print Isn't Dead. It's Evolving.

That idea set the tone from the first morning. Our opening keynote came from Mike Stramaglio of Stramaglio Consulting, who built the session with Hiro Ueda around a question every dealer is asking: not whether the industry survives, but how dealers evolve alongside it.

One idea stood out: capital follows opportunity. OEMs and investors are still betting on the future of print and workplace technology, and that tells us the opportunity is real. The heart of the conversation was the dealer of the future, one that moves from a transactional, click-based model to workplace lifecycle services, and shifts the customer conversation from devices and pages to outcomes, workflows, security and automation. It was a fitting start, because it framed every session that followed as a chance to rethink the business we’re really in and what we change when we get home.

What's Next with PaperCut

If the keynote asked where the industry is going, PaperCut helped answer what the next generation of print management looks like for our partners and their customers.
PaperCut CEO Chris Dance and Global Head of Go To Market Dave Farrell sat down for a Fireside Chat on PaperCut’s future, followed by a PaperCut Roadmap panel with Tyler Alvord. In the afternoon, the technical and sales tracks went deeper on three topics: what’s new in PaperCut MF 26, what’s new in PaperCut Hive, and Print Queue Deployment. For resellers, that meant a clearer view of how embedded print management, cloud-native print management with no print servers to maintain, and simpler driver and queue rollout fit together in a modern workplace strategy.
On Wednesday morning, our Gold sponsor ELATEC led a session on mobile credentials, a timely look at how secure access at the printer keeps evolving.

The Best Conversations Weren't Always on Stage

ecoSummit was never meant to be a one-way conversation. Some of the most valuable moments came when the microphones were passed to the room.
Right after lunch on Tuesday, we moved to Speed Dating led by our own Jennifer Muller. Attendees rotated through quick rounds, trading questions, ideas and experiences with ecoPartners and technology partners. Then the room split into three breakout tracks: Technical, Sales and Executive, the last hosted by Dominick and Alfredo Milanes for leadership-level conversations.
Those sessions brought partner experience directly into the discussion, and the ideas shared there are already shaping our follow-up work.

Turning Ideas into Opportunity

Evolving isn’t only about technology. It’s also about how dealers find opportunity, approach customers and build pipeline.
Kate Kingston, President of the Kingston Training Group, closed Tuesday’s general sessions with proven prospecting strategies to help dealerships and MSPs uncover deeper and wider opportunities within their existing customer base, while landing larger, high-value net-new accounts. Kate and her team have spent more than 20 years helping dealerships turn prospecting into a measurable, repeatable process, and her goal was for every attendee to leave with practical ideas and tools their sales teams could put to work immediately.

Celebrating Our Partners

Tuesday evening gave us a chance to pause and recognize the partners whose growth, collaboration and commitment move our community forward. At the Beach Dinner & Awards, we presented 15 awards.
PaperCut was named Partner of the Year, ELATEC earned Hardware Partner of the Year, and Marco Technologies and Access Systems joined the Diamond $1 Million Club. We also celebrated our Platinum $500K+ Club members, Best in Class partners, and excellence in pre-sales and post-sales support. Congratulations to every winner, and thank you to every ecoPartner for a great year.

4 - Beach Dinner and Awards night

Relationships Beyond the Meeting Room

The conversations didn’t stop when the sessions ended.
Some attendees headed out on the water with Boat Naples for boating and sightseeing while others boarded fishing charters. Golfers hit the course, and the biggest group stayed right on the LaPlaya beach for a Beach Day of volleyball, cornhole and more. That evening, everyone came back together for dinner at Violi.
Fishing boats, golf carts and beach chairs turned out to be great places to keep talking business, swap stories and get to know each other better. That’s the part of ecoSummit that turns a partner network into a community.

Thank You to Our Community

A big thank you to our sponsors PaperCut, ELATEC and rf IDEAS, to every speaker who shared their time and expertise, to the ecoprintQ team, and to every ecoPartner who made the trip to Naples. ecoSummit is only as strong as the people in the room, and this year’s room was exceptional.

The Evolution Continues

ecoSummit may have ended in Naples, but Evolve with a Purpose was never meant to be a three-day theme. It’s a challenge we carry forward: keep learning, keep listening, keep strengthening our partnerships and keep finding new ways to create value for the customers we serve.
Our team is already working through the ideas and feedback from the week, and attendees will hear from us soon with a short survey. We’d love to hear what stuck with
