Uptown Business Machines is a technology and office automation company featuring well-known brands such as HP, Lexmark, and Okidata. Uptown Business Machines supports local business with mission-critical tools for printing and scanning with a focus on “one customer at a time”. When I first met Adam in January, his passion for customer service was something that resonated with me and I knew we would be dynamic business partners as his vision aligned so well with ecoprintQ’s! Together Uptown and ecoprintQ have installed the PaperCut Print Management solution in multiple law firms thus providing a secure and easy to use print management system. Law firms are attracted to the Papercut solution as integration with their back-end billing system is easy, thus providing an easy way to add any copy and printing costs to a specific case.
Next up: Uptown is getting ready to install Papercut at a library that required all patrons to have easy access to printing from their mobile/BYOD devices. The library also needed a better way to track copies, prints and scans on their local MFD’s and charge patrons accordingly. Uptown’s vision is clear – they are helping business by providing the best print management solution out there- PaperCut – along with their “star treatment”! When I asked why Adam loves selling Papercut his response was,
