Inside ecoSummit 2026: A First Look at What’s Ahead
Print isn’t dead. It’s evolving. And so are the opportunities around it.
This October, ecoPartners, PaperCut and other strategic technology partners, industry experts, and the ecoprintQ team will gather in Naples, Florida, for ecoSummit 2026: Evolve with a Purpose.
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now. Speakers are preparing. Sessions are taking shape. Breakout conversations are being built. And an increasingly international group of ecoPartners is getting ready to make the trip to Naples.
But beneath all of that planning is a bigger conversation.
What does growth look like in a market that refuses to stand still?
Customer expectations are changing. Technology continues to advance. Security has become part of nearly every technology conversation. New solutions are expanding what dealers and service providers can offer their customers. And the traditional boundaries of the print business continue to shift.
Change itself isn’t new. What matters is what businesses choose to do with it.
That thinking is at the heart of Evolve with a Purpose.
Growth with Direction
The theme for this year’s ecoSummit didn’t start in a planning room. It emerged through conversations happening across the Americas.
Throughout 2026, ecoprintQ COO Dominick Bracero spent time on the road supporting his team and meeting directly with ecoPartners. Across different businesses, customers, and regions, one idea continued to surface: evolve.
“We quickly realized that we need to continue to evolve, and we need to do it with a purpose. Our industry is changing faster than ever, and success requires more than simply reacting to change.
We can’t lose sight of the importance of evolving with our customers, with our ecoPartners, and most importantly, with the technology driving that evolution.”
— Dominick Bracero, COO, ecoprintQ
That perspective will run throughout ecoSummit 2026.
As Dominick puts it, the goal is for ecoPartners to leave with “practical ideas, stronger relationships, and a clear vision for future growth.”
It isn’t about changing simply because the market is changing. It’s about recognizing where opportunities are emerging, understanding what customers will need next, and making deliberate decisions about where to invest time, resources, and attention.
What Will We Be Talking About in Naples?
We’re keeping a few things under wraps for now, but the direction of this year’s agenda says a lot about where the industry is headed.
Expect conversations around emerging technology, security, professional services, evolving customer expectations, business development, new revenue opportunities, and the strategies partners are using to build stronger businesses.
Attendees will hear from ecoprintQ leadership, strategic technology partners, and industry leaders, including Mike Stramaglio, who will bring his perspective on the evolving imaging channel, the forces shaping our industry, and where he sees opportunity ahead.
And those different perspectives matter.
There is no single roadmap for what comes next. Markets change. Technology changes. Customer priorities change. Opportunities that make sense for one organization may look very different for another.
The goal of ecoSummit isn’t to predict exactly what the industry will look like five years from now. It’s to bring the right people and perspectives together to help our partners play an active role in shaping what comes next, while building businesses prepared to adapt, compete, and find opportunity in whatever the market brings.
What We're Hearing Across the Channel
While every reseller serves a unique customer base, several themes continue to surface.
Customers are looking for ways to do more with less.
IT teams are being asked to support increasingly complex environments.
Organizations want technology that simplifies operations rather than adding another layer of management. Security remains a top priority.
And perhaps most importantly, customers are looking for trusted partners who can help them navigate change.
We’re also seeing dealers look beyond traditional opportunities and explore new ways to deliver value.
The conversations are becoming broader, more strategic, and increasingly focused on business outcomes rather than individual products.
That shift creates opportunity for everyone in the channel.
PaperCut Joins the Conversation
As our Platinum Sponsor and a longtime strategic technology partner of ecoprintQ, PaperCut will have an important presence at ecoSummit 2026.
We’re excited to welcome Chris Dance, CEO and Co-Founder of PaperCut, and Dave Farrell, Global Head of Go To Market (CRO), to Naples, where they’ll share insights, discuss the future of PaperCut, and explore the opportunities ahead for ecoPartners and the channel.
For ecoPartners, it’s a valuable opportunity to hear directly from PaperCut leadership, explore what’s possible with PaperCut technology, ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain a closer look at where PaperCut is headed.
That relationship reflects an important part of what ecoSummit is designed to do: bring ecoPartners and the technology partners shaping our industry into the same room to share ideas, explore opportunities, and look ahead together.
Busting the Myths Around PaperCut Hive
One of the conversations to watch at ecoSummit 2026 will be around PaperCut Hive.
Kelly Loya, Strategic Partnership Manager, ecoprintQ, says one of her goals for the event is to challenge some of the assumptions partners may still have about what Hive can and cannot do.
“There’s a lot of questions surrounding PaperCut Hive. I want our partners to leave with clarity around some of what they thought they knew about PaperCut Hive. There are a lot of assumptions out there about what Hive can and cannot do, and we’re really going to break those down. I’m excited to bust some of these PaperCut Hive myths and help our partners recognize all the opportunities.”
— Kelly Loya, Strategic Partnership Manager, ecoprintQ
Looking Ahead
The future of the channel won’t be determined solely by the next product release, technology trend, or industry headline.
It will be shaped by the organizations willing to stay engaged, remain curious, and continue learning from the people around them.
Because the best opportunities don’t always start with a product.
They start with a conversation.
And from what we’re hearing across the channel, those conversations have never been more important.
The Conversation Won’t Be One-Way
A strong agenda matters. So does what happens when the audience becomes part of it.
That’s why ecoSummit 2026 is being designed with multiple ways to engage.
Alongside presentations and technical and commercial training, attendees will take part in breakout sessions that allow smaller groups to dig deeper into specific topics and speed-dating sessions that create focused conversations between ecoPartners and technology partners.
Those discussions will continue between sessions, over lunch, at dinner, and throughout the event.
It’s an important part of the format because the people attending ecoSummit bring considerable experience of their own.
They know their customers. They know their markets. They know what’s working, what isn’t, and what questions they’re being asked right now.
Put those perspectives in the same room with technology providers, industry experts, and other partners facing similar decisions, and the conversation gets a lot more interesting.
It also reflects something Dominick emphasized in defining this year’s theme: ecoprintQ is there to listen, too. The conversations in Naples give our team an opportunity to continue learning from our partners and their customers as we consider how we evolve alongside them.
Thank You to our Sponsors!
Bringing ecoSummit together wouldn’t be possible without the technology partners investing in our ecoPartner community and helping make this year’s experience possible.
A special thank you to our Platinum Sponsor, PaperCut; Gold Sponsors, ELATEC and Intuitive; and Sponsor, rf IDEAS.
Their support helps us create an environment where partners can learn, connect, share ideas, and discover new opportunities together.
Thank you for being part of ecoSummit 2026 and Evolving with a Purpose alongside us.
Naples Is Getting Closer
The final agenda is being refined. Sessions are being finalized. Speakers are preparing. And there are a few things we’re intentionally saving for October.
What we can share is the thinking behind it.
We want ecoPartners to leave Naples with new ideas to consider, practical knowledge they can use, stronger relationships to build on, and a clearer sense of where opportunity may be headed next.
The industry will keep evolving. That part is inevitable.
What we do with that evolution is a choice.
Or, in Dominick’s words:
“The goal isn’t simply to change. It’s to Evolve with a Purpose.”
See you in Naples.
